Why a Siberian × British Shorthair mix?
Our mixed kittens are born to a Siberian and a British Shorthair parent. Crossing two breeds increases genetic diversity, which is generally associated with a lower risk of the hereditary conditions seen in some purebred lines (individual results vary; this is not a health guarantee). In Europe, countries such as the Netherlands have begun restricting the breeding of purebreds with extreme body types or high hereditary-disease risk, and more families are choosing mixes on purpose. Ours combine the Siberian's soft, plush coat with the British Shorthair's calm, people-loving temperament, at a more accessible price than our purebred kittens. As mixes, they do not come with a pedigree certificate.
- Greater genetic diversity
- Calm, affectionate temperament
- More accessible price
- No pedigree (mixed breed)
Adult & young-adult cats — ideal for first-time owners
Our cats aged 12 months and over already have a settled personality, so you know exactly who you are bringing home. They are past the kitten stage of night-time crying, mischief and frequent vaccination visits, and need no special care. Neutered or spayed cats also mean no heat-cycle yowling or marking. They are a great match for first-time owners, households that are out during the day, and anyone looking for a calm companion — ready to move in and start life with you today.
- Settled personality
- No special care needed
- Neutered or spayed (where noted)
- Great for beginners and working households

About adopting from us (information common to every kitten)
Daily care
The kittens are currently eating dry kibble. They can have their nails trimmed and be shampooed. They stay calm and do not run away even when a dryer is used. Litter training is provided. They can also drink water from a water dispenser. This can be reassuring even for first-time cat owners.
New Home Starter Set
For kittens going to their new families we have prepared a New Home Starter Set. It is a small gift containing useful everyday items such as cat food, toys, nail clippers and used cat litter. We offer it with care so that life in the new environment can begin as smoothly as possible.
Viewing hours
By appointment only (weekdays, weekends and public holidays; about 30–60 minutes)
Viewing location
Viewings are held at 2-6-23 Higashinakahama, Joto-ku, Osaka (nearest station: Midoribashi). By appointment only.
Before you visit
Please avoid contact with other animals on the day of your viewing (this can cause infectious disease). Please limit the viewing party to two people. Please wear a mask during the viewing.
About allergies
Our cattery also has cat breeds other than Siberians, as well as small animals. If you have animal allergies, please be sure to let us know in advance when making a reservation. To help you view with as much peace of mind as possible, we clean in advance and prepare a viewing space without contact with other animals. Allergic reactions differ from person to person.
Going home
The kitten will be handed over after its health condition is stable, after the first vaccination, and with a microchip already fitted. Depending on the kitten’s growth, circumstances and physical condition, the handover date may be extended.
Please note
After a viewing, it is fine if you decide not to take the kitten home because of differences from your expectations, compatibility, or similar reasons. Please make sure you have confirmed and understood your family’s agreement, any allergies, and the transfer fee before visiting.
