Essentials (Start with Just These)

  • Cage / Playpen — A safe "home within your home" for the first week. Not too big, not too small.
  • Carrier — Top-opening type recommended for easy access. Also used for vet visits.
  • Litter Box (large) — Siberians are big cats, so choose a roomy size. Hooded is OK too.
  • Cat Litter — Best to use the same type as before. Sudden changes can cause litter box issues.
  • Food — We'll tell you what they're currently eating. Key point: don't switch suddenly.
  • Water Bowls ×2 — Place in 2 spots for peace of mind. Ceramic or stainless steel stays clean.
  • Scratching Post — Vertical or horizontal, one is enough. Set up early to protect furniture.

Nice to Have (Ideally Before Pickup)

  • Bed / Blanket — We may provide a blanket with the kitten's scent.
  • Wet Food — Helpful when appetite drops.
  • Toys — Wand toys are classic. Helps prevent hand-biting habits.
  • Brush — Slicker brush recommended. 2-3 times a week is enough.
  • Sanitizing Supplies — Pet-safe disinfectant spray is handy.
  • Pee Pads — Place inside the carrier or under the cage for extra safety.
If you can create a comfortable resting space in the cage for the first week, that's enough. No need to get everything perfect. You can always add items later.
